Ryuichi Sakamoto
Ryuichi Sakamoto is a Japanese composer, musician, and actor, widely recognized as one of the pioneers of electronic and experimental music. As a founding member of the influential electronic band Yellow Magic Orchestra (YMO) in the late 1970s, Sakamoto helped shape the sounds of techno, synth-pop, and new wave. His early solo work, blending traditional Japanese music with cutting-edge electronic sounds, also garnered critical acclaim.
