ZZ Top

ZZ Top is an American rock band formed in 1969 in Houston, Texas, known for their blues-infused rock sound, humorous lyrics, and distinctive appearance, notably the long beards of two of its members. The band consists of Billy Gibbons (guitar and vocals), Dusty Hill (bass and vocals), and Frank Beard (drums). They gained commercial success in the 1970s with hits like "La Grange" and "Tush," showcasing their blend of Southern rock and blues influences.

In the 1980s, ZZ Top achieved massive popularity with the release of the album "Eliminator," which featured hits like "Gimme All Your Lovin'" and "Sharp Dressed Man." Their incorporation of synthesizers and music videos with a distinctive visual style helped them reach a broader audience. The band has been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and is celebrated for its longevity, having maintained the same lineup for over five decades. Despite the passing of Dusty Hill in 2021, ZZ Top continues to perform, with their music remaining a staple of classic rock radio.
