The Reindeer Section

The Reindeer Section is a Scottish indie rock supergroup formed in 2001, consisting of members from various notable bands such as Snow Patrol, Belle & Sebastian, and Mogwai. The project was spearheaded by Snow Patrol's Gary Lightbody, who brought together a collective of musicians to create collaborative and heartfelt music. The band's debut album, "Y'All Get Scared Now, Ya Hear!" featured a blend of indie rock, folk, and alternative sounds, characterized by lush arrangements and emotive vocals.

Following their debut, The Reindeer Section released a second album, "Son of Evil Reindeer," which continued to build on their unique sound. The collaborative nature of the band allowed for a rich tapestry of musical influences, making their music both diverse and cohesive. Though the group has not released new material in many years, their work remains a cherished part of the indie rock canon, showcasing the power of collaboration and the talent of its members.
