The Clipse

The Clipse is a Virginia-based rap duo consisting of brothers Pusha T and Malice (now No Malice), known for their sharp lyricism, vivid drug-dealing narratives, and cold, minimalist production. Emerging in the early 2000s under the guidance of The Neptunes, they gained massive acclaim with their debut album Lord Willin’, which featured the breakout hit “Grindin’.” The song’s unique beat and raw street-focused lyrics made it a hip-hop classic.

Their follow-up albums, Hell Hath No Fury and Til the Casket Drops, cemented their reputation as some of the best lyricists in the game. While Malice later stepped away from the industry to focus on his faith, Pusha T continued as a solo artist, becoming a major force in hip-hop. Despite their split, The Clipse’s legacy as one of the greatest rap duos of all time remains strong.
