Soul Clan

The Soul Clan was a short-lived but influential supergroup in the 1960s composed of some of the era's most notable soul singers. Formed in 1967, the group consisted of Ben E. King, Solomon Burke, Arthur Conley, Don Covay, and Joe Tex. Each member brought their own unique style and vocal prowess to the group, creating a powerhouse ensemble. While their collaboration was brief, they released the single "Soul Meeting," which showcased their collective talent and became a hit on the R&B charts. Despite their limited output as a group, the Soul Clan's legacy endures as a testament to the camaraderie and creativity of the soul music scene of the 1960s.
