Redd Kross
Redd Kross is an American rock band from Los Angeles, known for their fusion of punk, power pop, and glam rock. Founded by brothers Jeff and Steven McDonald in the late 1970s, the band initially gained attention within the hardcore punk scene but quickly evolved into a more melodic and polished sound. Their albums Neurotica (1987) and Third Eye(1990) are considered cult classics, showcasing their ability to mix punk energy with bubblegum pop sensibilities.
Despite not achieving mainstream success, Redd Kross has remained influential in the alternative and underground rock world. Their later albums, including Researching the Blues (2012) and Beyond the Door (2019), highlight their continued passion for infectious melodies and high-energy performances.
