Raspberries
The Raspberries were an American power pop band from Cleveland, Ohio, active in the early 1970s. Led by Eric Carmen, the group was known for their polished, Beatles-influenced sound, which blended rock energy with melodic hooks. Their biggest hit, "Go All the Way," became a defining track of the power pop genre, reaching No. 5 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1972.
Though their mainstream success was short-lived, The Raspberries are widely credited with influencing later rock and pop acts, including Cheap Trick and The Knack. Their music remains a touchstone for fans of classic rock and power pop, and their reunion performances in the 2000s were met with enthusiasm from longtime admirers.
