Quiet Riot
Quiet Riot is an American heavy metal band that gained widespread fame in the early 1980s. Formed in Los Angeles in 1973 by guitarist Randy Rhoads and bassist Kelly Garni, the band underwent several lineup changes before achieving commercial success. Their breakthrough came with the 1983 album "Metal Health," which became the first heavy metal album to reach number one on the Billboard 200 chart, propelled by the hit singles "Cum On Feel the Noize" and "Metal Health (Bang Your Head)."
Known for their energetic performances and powerful sound, Quiet Riot played a significant role in popularizing heavy metal during the 1980s. Despite various disbandments and reunions, the band continues to perform, maintaining a dedicated fan base and a lasting influence on the metal genre.
