Primer 55

Primer 55 is an American nu-metal band formed in Memphis, Tennessee, in 1997. The band's lineup has seen several changes, but its core members included Bobby Burns (guitar) and Jason "J-Sin" Luttrell (vocals). Their music is characterized by a fusion of aggressive metal riffs, rap vocals, and elements of hardcore punk. Primer 55 gained attention with their debut album "Introduction to Mayhem," released in 2000, featuring tracks like "Loose" and "Set It Off," which resonated with fans of the burgeoning nu-metal scene.

Despite their initial success, Primer 55 faced challenges with lineup instability and internal conflicts, which impacted their momentum. They released their second album, "The New Release," in 2001, but struggled to maintain the same level of commercial success. The band went on hiatus and experienced several reunions and lineup changes over the years. Primer 55's raw energy and uncompromising sound have left a lasting impact on the nu-metal genre, earning them a dedicated following despite their turbulent history.
