Pete Droge
Pete Droge is an American singer-songwriter who made a name for himself in the 1990s with his folk-influenced rock sound. His debut album, Necktie Second (1994), featured the hit single “If You Don’t Love Me (I’ll Kill Myself),” which gained prominence after being featured in the film Dumb and Dumber. With his laid-back, rootsy sound and witty songwriting, Droge was often compared to Tom Petty and John Mellencamp.
Though he never became a household name, Droge continued to release well-crafted albums throughout his career.
