Ottmar Liebert
Ottmar Liebert is a German-born guitarist and composer, best known for his pioneering work in the genre of nuevo flamenco. Since moving to the United States in the late 1970s, Liebert has created a unique blend of flamenco, jazz, and world music that has earned him both critical acclaim and commercial success. His debut album, Nouveau Flamenco(1990), went on to achieve multi-platinum status, firmly establishing Liebert as a leading figure in contemporary instrumental music.
Throughout his career, Liebert has released numerous albums, often with his band Luna Negra, that showcase his distinctive style of guitar playing, marked by its rhythmic complexity and emotional depth.
