Monaco
Monaco was a British rock band formed in 1995 by New Order bassist Peter Hook, together with David Potts, who provided the vocals and played guitar. Their music combined elements of alternative rock, electronic, and dance, garnering attention with their debut album "Music for Pleasure" in 1997. The album featured their most successful single, "What Do You Want From Me?" which achieved notable chart success. Monaco's sound was characterized by catchy hooks, pulsating rhythms, and Potts' distinctive vocals, carving out a unique niche in the music scene of the late 1990s. Despite disbanding in the early 2000s, Monaco left a mark with their energetic and eclectic sound, influencing subsequent generations of musicians.
