Moloko
Moloko is an Irish-English electronic music duo formed in 1994, consisting of vocalist Róisín Murphy and producer Mark Brydon. Known for their fusion of trip-hop, electronic dance music, and quirky pop elements, Moloko gained international recognition with their 1999 hit Sing It Back, which became a club anthem. Their unique sound, blending electronic beats with Murphy's eccentric vocal style, made them a favorite in the late 1990s and early 2000s alternative dance scene.
Moloko’s music is celebrated for its innovative production and avant-garde approach to pop music. Albums like Things to Make and Do (2000) showcased their ability to craft catchy yet experimental tunes. After the duo disbanded in 2003, Róisín Murphy went on to pursue a successful solo career, continuing to explore the boundaries of electronic and pop music.
