Lords of Acid

Lords of Acid is a Belgian electronic music group known for their provocative lyrics, high-energy beats, and fusion of techno, acid house, and industrial music. Formed in the late 1980s by producer Praga Khan, the group quickly gained a reputation for their raunchy, sexually charged lyrics and club-friendly sound. Their debut album, Lust (1991), featured the hit "I Sit on Acid," which became a staple in dance clubs and established their signature mix of hedonism and electronic intensity.

Over the years, Lords of Acid has continued to push boundaries, blending dark, edgy themes with pulsating rhythms and infectious melodies. Their music has been influential in the rave and industrial scenes, with albums like Voodoo-U (1994) and Farstucker (2000) further cementing their reputation. Despite lineup changes, the band remains active, continuing to tour and release music that stays true to their provocative, high-energy ethos.
