Jeff Conaway

Jeff Conaway was an American actor and singer best known for his roles in the film "Grease" and the television series "Taxi." Born on October 5, 1950, in New York City, Conaway's breakout role came in 1978 when he played Kenickie, the charismatic and rebellious greaser in the movie "Grease." His performance in the film, alongside John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John, made him a recognizable figure in popular culture.

Conaway also gained fame for his portrayal of Bobby Wheeler, a struggling actor working as a taxi driver, in the hit TV show "Taxi," which aired from 1978 to 1983. His work on "Taxi" earned him critical acclaim and two Golden Globe nominations. Despite his early successes, Conaway faced personal challenges, including struggles with addiction, which he openly discussed later in his life. He appeared on reality television shows like "Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew" to seek help and raise awareness about addiction.
