India and Masters At Work

India, also known as Linda Viera Caballero, is a Puerto Rican-American singer renowned for her powerful vocals and contributions to Latin house music. She became a key collaborator with Masters At Work, a duo consisting of DJs and producers "Little" Louie Vega and Kenny "Dope" Gonzalez. Together, they created some of the most iconic house and Latin-infused club tracks of the 1990s, blending salsa, jazz, and deep house into a unique, infectious sound.

India’s voice brought an emotional depth to tracks like "I Can’t Get No Sleep" and "To Be In Love," both of which became anthems in the house music scene. Her collaborations with Masters At Work helped bridge the gap between Latin music and electronic dance music, influencing countless artists in both genres. While she later pursued more traditional Latin music, her work with the duo remains some of the most celebrated in house music history.
