Dig
Dig was an alternative rock band from Los Angeles that gained attention in the early 1990s for their grunge-influenced sound. Their self-titled debut album, released in 1993, featured the hit single "Believe," which received significant airplay on alternative rock radio and MTV. The band's music fit seamlessly into the era’s landscape, blending heavy guitars, brooding melodies, and introspective lyrics that resonated with fans of grunge and alternative rock.
Although Dig never achieved the mainstream success of some of their contemporaries, they maintained a dedicated following and continued to release music throughout the 1990s. Their later albums explored different sonic textures, incorporating more psychedelic and experimental elements. Despite their relatively short-lived presence in the mainstream, Dig remains a cult favorite among fans of '90s alternative rock.
