Deee-Lite

Deee-Lite was an American house and dance music group formed in New York City in 1986. The group consisted of vocalist Lady Miss Kier (Kierin Kirby), DJ Dmitry (Dmitry Brill), and Towa Tei (Dong-Hwa Chung), and they became known for their eclectic and vibrant style. Their 1990 debut album, "World Clique," featured the hit single "Groove Is in the Heart," which became a defining track of the early 1990s dance scene. The song's infectious groove, quirky lyrics, and memorable music video helped catapult Deee-Lite to international fame.
