Cinderella

Cinderella is an American glam metal band that gained prominence in the mid-1980s, blending blues-infused hard rock with the flashy aesthetics of the era. Formed in 1982 by Tom Keifer and Eric Brittingham, the band skyrocketed to fame with their debut album Night Songs (1986), which featured hit singles like Shake Me and Nobody’s Fool. Their follow-up, Long Cold Winter (1988), saw the band embracing a more bluesy sound, producing tracks like Don’t Know What You Got (Till It’s Gone).

Though Cinderella was often grouped with the hair metal scene, their sound had more depth and grit than many of their contemporaries. Keifer’s raspy vocals and the band’s powerful blues-driven riffs set them apart. Despite enduring setbacks, including Keifer’s vocal issues, Cinderella maintained a loyal fan base. Although they have not released new music in years, their influence on rock remains significant, and their classic hits continue to be staples of 1980s rock nostalgia.
