BulletBoys

BulletBoys emerged in the late 1980s, riding the wave of glam metal with a raw, high-energy sound. Formed in Los Angeles in 1986, the band was led by vocalist Marq Torien and was heavily influenced by acts like Van Halen. Their self-titled debut album (1988) produced hits like Smooth Up in Ya and For the Love of Money, showcasing their mix of sleazy rock riffs and bluesy swagger. Their explosive live performances and flashy persona quickly earned them a reputation in the glam metal scene.

However, as the grunge movement took over in the early ’90s, BulletBoys struggled to maintain mainstream success. Despite lineup changes and commercial shifts, the band has remained active, continuing to tour and release new music. Their early work still holds a special place in the hearts of glam metal fans, and they are remembered as one of the more energetic and charismatic acts of the era.
