Air French Band

Air, also known as Air French Band, is a French music duo consisting of Nicolas Godin and Jean-Benoît Dunckel. Emerging in the 1990s during the rise of the French electronic music scene, Air gained international recognition with their debut album, "Moon Safari" in 1998. The album became a hallmark of the downtempo genre, featuring iconic tracks like "Sexy Boy" and "Kelly Watch The Stars." Their music blends elements of ambient, electronica, and psychedelic pop, creating a distinctive, dreamy sound that has consistently charmed listeners. Beyond their studio albums, Air has also been involved in film score work, most notably for Sofia Coppola’s film "The Virgin Suicides." Their influence is notable in shaping the aesthetics of late 90s and early 2000s electronic music.
